Endangered languages require digital tools—from localized computer keyboards to transcription software—but such tools have only been developed for about 5% of the world's languages. Collaborating with digital literacy initiatives, tool developers, language archives and educators, my goal is to understand how new technology can support linguistic sovereignty.
