Grief in the Time of COVID-19
The United Kingdom, Japan, Bulgaria, Mexico
How did people grieve during the COVID pandemic when they could not practice communal mourning? How did institutions and communities grapple with continual death? To answer these questions, I will interact with families, healthcare workers, archives, hospitals, religious institutions, and community health clinics in countries that had varying caseloads, fatality rates and responses.
