Exploring Beyond Limits: Extremophiles, Myths, and Resilience
The United Kingdom, Chile, New Zealand, Australia
Extremophiles are organisms that survive the nearly un-survivable—volcanic magma, the depths of polar ice, and the vastness of outer space. On my year, I will engage with indigenous communities, scientists, and researchers to explore how extremophiles can illuminate our understanding of life's tenacity and serve as a blueprint for resilience in our changing world.
