Seaweed plays a dynamic role in fighting climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It also forms an industry through which many communities make a living. Through the dynamic lens of seaweed cultivation -- from small scale harvesting to industrial production -- my goal is to draw attention to this human-environment interplay and inspire climate solutions rooted in both humanity and environmental justice.
