My Watson project investigates the ideals of Total Theatre, a type of theatre that engages voice, dance, and acting skills into one seamless performance. Exploring traditional dramatic forms -- Japan (kabuki), Mayan (religious dance ceremony), and Basque (pastorale) -- I will explore a new pedagogy for Total Theatre, modern productions that blend authenticity, equity and craft.
